威尔逊菲利浦斯 (Wilson Phillips) 演唱组由 Wilson 姐妹 (Carnie.Wilson & Wendy.Wilson) 和 hynna.Phillips 所组成。Wilson姐妹的父母是前“海滩伙伴” (Beach Boys) 的主唱 Brian.Wilson 和“蜂蜜”(Honeys)乐队成员Marilyn， 而Chynna的父母是前“妈妈和爸爸”(The Mamas And The Papas)成员John.Phillips和 ichelle.Phillpis 这个三重唱组合并没有辜负她们前辈们的威望，第一次合作便有两首单曲《Hold on》、《Release me》挤身排行榜第一名，同名专辑也获当年十佳专辑。Chynna.Phillips(1968年2月12日生于加州洛杉矶), Wendy.Wilson(1969年10月16日年生于加州洛杉矶)和 Carnie. Wilson (1968年4月29日生于洛杉矶)，虽然她们小时候便彼此相识并一同唱歌，但直到1990年初期在SBK唱片公司推出同名专辑时三人都已二十出头。 除了精神上的鼓励外，她们的父母并没有在音乐方面给她们更多的帮助。她们的第一张专辑一直保持着很高的销量，累计超过五百万个拷贝。第二张专辑 《Shandows and Light》在发行的第一周便成为最畅销专辑，这个专辑的歌曲涵义深刻，制作更加完善，歌中揭示了她们童年时的困惑，她们曾饱受各自父亲过分放纵而带 来的众多压力。 Brain.Wilson 和 John.Phillips 也通过《Flesh and Blood》、《Would You Fly The Way From New York》两首歌词中获益非浅。乐队于1992年解散。之后Wilson姐妹推出专辑《Hey Santa!》。1993年后期Chynna.Phyllips开始了其独唱生涯，Wilson姐妹为了缓解与父亲的日渐疏远，于1997年邀请其父 参加了她们新专辑的制作。
Wilson phillps演唱组是一个非常不错的女子乐队，那极富韵味，和谐幽雅的trois各自特色鲜明，carnie低沉而略带沙哑，wendy音色轻脆甜美， chynna高亢激情，正是这三种全然不同的声音造就了这支别具一格的合唱组合。因为她们从小一起长大，且受过良好的音乐熏陶，因此演唱时的 默契便不言而喻。虽然和当时盛行的美貌第一的标准相比，她们属于绝对的实力派；逊色主要是Carnie脸稍微肥了一点^^。。。。不过最值得一提的是三人的实力平均，并没有主唱伴唱之分，因此在同一专辑中中会展现出不同的曲风。变换的风格让其更散发不同的魅力。
不过和大多组合的命运一样，在经历了维系不长的成功之后，Wilson还是解散了，不管是什么原因，这都是乐坛一大损失，虽然单飞后的chynna和wilson姐妹各自出了新专 辑，但其影响力已今非昔比。直到2004年，三位才重新聚拢起来，发行了让人非常惊讶的，Wilson重又回来了，风格并没有多大变化，但是新鲜感完全被旧时的回忆所冲淡，这张全新的不乏诸多亮点的新专集也湮没在众多喜欢听新元素音乐的新潮儿的视野里，即使California尝试了一些新东西，但更多的是对往昔的回忆吧。。。。总而言之，她们能重新聚集实属不易，也会让曾经喜欢过她们的人儿欢欣不已.
